Yap was the weakest team in the 2006 Micronesian Tournament. The team was playing against smarter, taller and more experienced squads. Yap is far from being able to compete under its own flag and seems lost whithout the help of the other micronesian states.

Players recap:
It's hard to find a good news in Yap's tournament, the team seems out of shape, the players were unable to pass the hald-court without loosing the ball, the team was outrebounded and unable to hit the shots and even the coaches seemed lost during this tournament. Jessica Kadannged and Selma Single were the two best players but there are tons of work to be done in Yap and the team is still lightyears away from being a contender in the region.
