Palau cruised past Micronesia in the opener. Palau built a 42-9 halftime lead and never looked back en route to the victory. Namiko Singich (2002) scored 22 points to pace the winners. Mahealani Adelbai (G-1997) added 18 points for the winners. Jacether Andrew (163-F-1995) answered with 6 points for Micronesia.

Guam - Northern Mariana Islands 94-46
Guam coasted past Northern Mariana Islands for the first win at the tournament. Mia San-Nicolas (180-C-2001) stepped up with 18 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort. Guam claimed a 46-31 halftime lead. They followed with a 27-5 run in the fourth quarter to seal the victory. Elysia Perez (163-G-2000) accounted for 13 points in the win. E'Anna Won (170-G-2001) had 15 points and 9 rebounds for Northern Mariana Islands.
