Palau outscored Micronesia to open win count at the Cup. Palau registered a 43-22 halftime lead. Micronesia slowed their opponents down in the second half but could not avoid the loss. Anthony Rudi (183-C-1990) finished with 13 points, while JT Timarong (190-F-2000) added 11 points for Palau. AJ Bisalen (185-C-1992) answered with 11 points and 11 rebounds for Micronesia.

Guam - Northern Mariana Islands 113-45
Ben Borja (203-F/C-1998) nailed 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds as Guam cruised past Northern Mariana Islands in the opener. The hosts grabbed a 50-14 halftime lead and marched to the victory in the second half. Reo Aiken (188-G-2001) delivered 17 points for the winners. Coby Santos (183-PG-2000) answered with 21 points and 10 rebounds for Northern Mariana Islands.
