Brigitte Delaveuve awarded French Basketball Gold Medal

At half time in the women's gold medal game, New Caledonia's Brigitte Delaveuve was awarded the highest honour from the French Basketball Federation, the Gold Medal. This medal was presented by the Vice President of the French Federation Mr Jean-Marc Jehanno, in recognition of Brigitte's volunteer work for basketball over many, many years, During the Pacific Games Brigitte has been the head of the technical officials and basketball volunteers, and has done an amazing job on behalf of the players at the tournament.
