2012 Pacific Youth Championships: Australia too good for New Caledonia

Australia had little problems earning the second straight win at the start of the home Pacific Youth Championship. The hosts coasted past New Caledonia tonight. Danijela Milisc provided 21 points to pace the Aussies.
Australia led by18 points after the starting quarter 26:8. They erupted for 37 points in the second quarter to accumulate a 63:12 haftime lead. The hosts dropped 30 points in the third term to take an insurmountable 93:14 lead heading into the fourth frame. Georgia Pineau produced 18 points and 9 rebounds for the hosts. Bride Kennedy added 17 points in the victory. Melissa Chaliot and Roselyne Forest answered with 6 points each in defeat.
