Freiburg keeps Lucet for another season

Soana Lucet

Eisvogel USC Freiburg (DBBL) re-signed 27-year old New Caledonian forward Soana Lucet (186-87, college: Arizona). She played there last season. In 11 DBBL games she averaged 14.6ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.6apg, 2.5spg and 1.0bpg. Lucet also played at Angers - Union Feminine Basket 49 (LFB) in French league that season. In 13 games she had 3.8ppg, 3.5rpg and 1.0spg.
The previous (12-13) season she played at Castors Braine (Division I) in Belgian league. In 23 games she had 11.9ppg, 5.7rpg, 1.3apg and 1.3spg in 2012-13 season. She can count that year as a very successful as was selected to Eurobasket.com All-Belgian League Honorable Mention.
In 2011-12 season Lucet played at Arras Pays d'Artois Basket Feminin (LFB) in French league. In 8 games she had just 2.3ppg and 1.4rpg in 2011-12 season. She also played 5 games in Eurocup where she was fifth best scorer with 4.6ppg and recorded 3.2rpg (#4 in the league) in 2011-12 season. Lucet's team made it to the Pac-10 Tournament Semifinals in 2011.
She graduated from University of Arizona in 2011 and it will be her fourth season in pro basketball.
