Papua New Guinea nipped New Caledonia 67-66 in Suva in day 2 of the Melanesian Cup. Trailing 11-14 at the end of the first period, Papua New Guinea produced a massive 23-15 surge in the second frame and added a 17-12 rally in the third quarter.
