South province - second phase recap

The second phase of the South Province championship is over. Vallee-du-tir, SS Independente, Mont-Dore and a surprising Riviere-salee team would play the semifinals. That means AS6km won't be playing in the postseason for the first time in years.

Almost nobody saw that coming but AS6km ended the second phase at the 5th position and won't play the semifinals. The deception should be huge for coach Jean-Marc Delaveuve and his players who went all the way to the Final last year. The AS Riviere-Salee, despite a 56-71 loss against Independente in the last day, managed to secure the last qualifying spot. But the hardest part come for this team when they will face the strong JS Vallee-du-tir in the semifinals. In the other game, SS Independente will play Mont-Dore.
The four teams qualified for the postseason will also play the Territorial Championship with the two best teams from the North Province.
