South Province: AS6km makes the Three-Peat

Soana Lucet (187-C-87) and her teamates won their third South Province Championship in a row. They defeated twice a very young Vallee-du-Tir team: 67-45 and 99-36! AS6km will now try to make the same kind of result in the upcoming Territorial Championship.

Game 1:
AS6km - Vallee-du-Tir: 67-45
JSVDT hold on during the first-half but AS6km made the break in the third stanza on the wings of Soana Lucet, who is unstoppable in the New Caledonia basketball.

Game 2:
Vallee-du-Tir - AS6km: 36-99
After a pretty close first game, everybody was expecting an intense Game 2 but AS6km really wanted to smash JSVDT's dreams as soon as possible. With a visible physical edge, AS6km destroyed MDBC with a full-press defense causing many turnovers.
Vallee-du-Tir coach Pierre Bourdon, congratulated the winners but also his team.
"Our team wasn't at its best tonight. One our of player left to play in France and we also have three injuried girls. This years is like a transition period. We have to rebuild everything with our youngsters but the physical and technical potential is here. We only have to work on the team chemistry".
