Territorial: the North teams eliminated in the first round

Even if basketball is improving in the North Province, the South is still dominating. The two best North teams were unable to defeat their southern opponent in the Territorial opening round. The four best teams from the South will now play a round robin phase before the semfinals. The Independente squad blasted Poindimie 84-52 while ASRS displayed a great defense game to defeat Nepoui 49-33. Both teams will join JSVDT and Mont-Dore in the pool phase.
