Jamie Skeen
JAMIE SKEEN

Taylor Hawks (NBL) added to their roster 30-year old American forward Jamie Skeen (203-100kg-88, college: VCU). He moved there from played at Kouvot in Finnish Korisliiga where he started the season. In 44 games he recorded 13.1ppg, 5.7rpg and 1.6apg this season. Good year as he was named League Player of the Week. Skeen also spent pre-season at Sopron KC (A Division) in Hungarian league that year.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others Skeen played in the final of Belgian League in 2015. He was also voted NABC Division I All-District 10 1st Team back in 2011 at his college time.
Skeen is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Europe, Latin America and of course North America) in seven different countries. Skeen has played previously professionally in France (ASVEL Lyon Villeurbanne Basket), Israel (Ironi Ashkelon and Maccabi Ashdod), Italy (Sutor Montegranaro), Kosovo (Peja), Puerto Rico (Gallitos), Belgium (Belfius Mons Hainaut) and NBA G League (Greensboro Swarm).
He attended Virginia Commonwealth University until 2011 and it is his seventh season as a professional player.
The scouts decsribe him following way: Can play the 4 and the 5 positions with the thame effectiveness. Offensively, has e good foot work inside and he's a good decision maker, with team mentality. Can hit the basket shooting in front of it and isn' t afraid to bang with larger and heavier opponents.
