Dominique
Kelman-Poto
Forward Dominique Kelman-Poto (201-F) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for SC Rangers and receives a Interperformances Player of the Week award for round 13.
He had a double-double of 31 points and 15 rebounds, while his team beat Manawatu J. (#7, 3-15) 109-99. SC Rangers is placed at 6th position in New Zealand league. Too late to salvage the team, which is currently ranked such low. They already lost 14 games and recorded just four victories. Kelman-Poto has many years of experience at SC Rangers, through which he has constantly improved. Dominique Kelman-Poto averages this season 14.8ppg and 6.4rpg.

Second best performed player last round was Daishon Knight (185-G-91) of Manawatu J.. He is American guard in his first season at Manawatu J.. In the last game Knight recorded impressive 27 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Bad luck as Manawatu J. lost that game 99-109 to slightly higher-ranked SC Rangers (#6, 4-14). This loss caused Manawatu J. to drop to 7th position in the standings. 15 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Manawatu J. managed to get this year. Knight is one of the most experienced players at Manawatu J. and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 28.9ppg (#1). His other stats are also decent: 5.9rpg and 4.8apg.

Third place about best performers goes to forward Hyrum Harris (198-F) of Taylor Hawks (#4). Harris scored 18 points and grabbed thirteen rebounds (!!!). He was a key player of Taylor Hawks, leading his team to a 105-72 easy win against the lower-ranked Taranaki MA (#8, 3-15). Taylor Hawks needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 12 victories and 6 lost games. Harris has a very solid season. In 18 games in New Zealand he scored 7.7ppg.
