JULIAN WASHBURN

San Antonio Spurs (NBA) agreed terms with 26-year old forward Julian Washburn (203-93kg-91, college: UTEP). It is actually his comeback to the Spurs as he has played here before. Washburn played last summer at Canterbury in New Zealand NBL league. In 18 games he had very impressive stats: 18.3ppg, 7.6rpg, 2.8apg and 1.1spg. A very spectacular season in his career as he was named to Australiabasket.com All-New Zealand NBL Honorable Mention.
Washburn has never been drafted by the NBA. He won NBA G League championship title.
Washburn was voted All-C-USA Defensive Player of the Year back in 2015 at his college time.
Washburn has played previously professionally in Germany (Walter Tigers) and NBA G League (Austin Spurs).
He attended Univ.of Texas at El Paso until 2015 and it will be his fourth season as a professional player.

Here is the last round review presented by ESL. The most exciting game of round 6 in the NBL took place in Hobart. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked Giants (3-5) to sixth ranked Huskies (3-4) 93-91 in the game for the fifth place.
