Derone Raukawa agreed terms with Mountain Airs - Jan 24, 2019

Taranaki Mountainairs (NBL) strengthened their roster with addition of 24-year old international guard Derone Raukawa (181-94). He played in the summer at SIT Zero Fees Southland Sharks. In 20 NBL games he recorded 9.0ppg, 2.1rpg and 3.2apg. Raukawa helped them to win the league title.
He also represented New Zealand at the Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast (Australia) last year. Raukawa's team won Bronze and his stats at that event were 5 games: 4.6ppg, 1.6rpg, 1.2apg.
Raukawa has played previously for three other teams: Pistons, Jets and New Zealand Breakers.

Canterbury Rams (NBL) confirmed in their roster 22-year old guard Taylor Britt (188-96, college: Southeast CC). He played there last season. In 18 NBL games he had 3.2ppg, 1.7rpg and 1.1spg. Britt won NJCAA D2 Region IX championship title in 2016. He graduated from Southeast Community College in 2017 and it will be his second season as a professional player.
