Matt Freeman (ex Bulls) signs at Craiova

SCM CSU Craiova (Liga Nationala) landed 25-year old New Zealander 207cm forward Matt Freeman (college: UCSB) for new season. Freeman played this summer at Bulls in New Zealand NBL league. In 10 games just recently he averaged 7.5ppg, 3.0rpg, 1.2apg and 1.1spg. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. The last season he played at Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in German ProA where in 38 games he had 9.3ppg, 5.3rpg and 1.7apg.
Freeman represented New Zealand at the FIBA Oceania Championship U19 in Suva (Fiji) eight years ago.
He has played also professionally for other German teams like Gladiators and Lions.
His team was regular season runner-up in Big West in 2020.
Freeman graduated from University of California Santa Barbara in 2020 and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball. He played also for The University of Oklahoma for 3 years.
