Australian-German Forward Craig Moller (203-F-1994) had a great game in the last round for Taranaki Airs, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 19.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 17 points and 16 rebounds, while his team beat Nuggets (#11, 3-13) 92-78. Airs is placed at 4th position in New Zealand NBL. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Airs will need more victories to improve their 9-6 record. In the team's last game Moller had a remarkable three three-pointers out of 6 attempts. He just recently signed at Airs, being already a very valuable addition to the team. Craig Moller averages just after three games 10.7ppg and 13.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Donald Carey (196-G-1999) of Otago Nuggets. Carey had a very good evening with 34 points and 7 rebounds. Bad luck as Nuggets lost that game 78-92 to the higher-ranked Airs (#4, 9-6). Nuggets is still in a red zone at 11th spot in the standings. 13 lost games are too many comparing to just three victories Nuggets managed to get this year. Carey is one of the most experienced players at Nuggets and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 22.7ppg (#5). His other stats are also decent: 5.5rpg and 5.9apg.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Quinton Rose (203-G-1998) of Manawatu Jets (#3). Rose got into 30-points club by scoring 36 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds . Despite Rose's great performance the Jets lost 89-109 to the lower-ranked Giants (#10, 5-11). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Jets needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 10 victories and 6 lost games. Rose has a very solid season. In 4 games in New Zealand he scored 21.0ppg.

The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
