Le'afa graduated from Sacramento State University in 2020. His excellent performance made his team the Saints beat the Rams 90 to 84. Among many awards he played in the final of the Australian NBL in 2023. He was selected to the Australiabasket All New Zealand NBL Second Team in 2024 and All Domestic Players Team in 2023.
