American guard Shane Gatling (188-G-1998, college: Colorado) was the top scorer of the day in the world yesterday with the 29 points he had in the New Zealand league. Gatling graduated from University of Colorado in 2020. His excellent performance made his team the Giants beat the Hawks 94 to 85. Among many award he was named as the Eurobasket All Slovakian League Import Player of the Year and was selected to the All Imports Team back in 2023. Gatling was selected to the Eurobasket All Bosnia and Herzegovina League First Team back in 2022.
