IVYBL: 2006 season to kick off on Feb. 21

The 2006 Island-wide Village Youth Basketball League will make a return to the hard courts this month, with officials targeting a Feb. 21 kick-off date. source: Shan Seman for SaipanTribune.

Co-coordinator Jonathan Tenorio disclosed yesterday that eight teams have already confirmed their participation in the league. Leading the cast is defending champion San Antonio, which will now play as the Sixers I. The Sixers II, Garapan Rollers I and II, Matansa Sparks I and II, Chalan Kanoa Saints, and San Vicente will also put their skills to the test in the 14-and-under cage league.
