New Caledonia - Fiji 40-82 Fiji registered the second consecutive win in Group A. They rallied past New Caledonia to stay unbeaten. Valeria Nainima (165-G-86) scored 17 points and 9 assists for the winners. Letava Whippy (175-G-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Fiji. Yolande Luepak (177-F-82) replied with 10 points for New Caledonia.
Cook Islands - Samoa 67-71 Samoa marched past Cook Islands to register the second win in a row in Group A. Malama Leaupepe (173-G-96) was unstoppable with 43 points and 23 rebounds for the winners. Samoa posted a 26:13 lead ten minutes into the game. Cook Islands pulled within two points at the final break but Samoa sank 20 points in the fourth frame to secure the winning outcome. Ajiah Pepe (171-G-98) replied with 21 points for Cook Islands.
