Tahiti - Papua New Guinea 70-66
Tahiti recorded the first win at the tournament. They topped Papua New Guinea to improve at 1-1 record in Group B. Alizee Lefrance (175-F-91) scored 18 points and grabbed 19 rebounds for the winners. Papua New Guinea accounted for a 21:10 lead after ten minutes. But Tahiti went on a 27:12 run in the second term to surge ahead. Tahiti held Papua New Guinea to just 15 points in the fourth frame and raced to the win. Oceane Lefranc (177-SF-93) had 14 points and 21 rebounds in the victory. Rosa Kairi (158-G-97) replied with 17 points for Papua New Guinea.

Guam - American Samoa 76-85
American Samoa outscored Guam behind 23 points and 13 rebounds from Sarah Toeaina (180-G-96, college: Hawaii). American Samoa posted a 47:31 halftime lead. Guam narrowed the distance in the second half but could not avoid the loss. Malia Nawahine (178-G-95) had 20 points for the winning side. Destiny Castro (168-SG-97) responded with 27 points and 12 rebounds for Guam.
