Fiji overcame Samoa to clinch the third straight win at the tournament. Fiji dominated from start to finish. They established a 38:24 halftime lead. They held Samoa to just 6 points in the fourth term to ice the win. Letava Whippy (175-G-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) produced 15 points and 12 rebounds, while Kayla Mendez (169-G-86) and Miliakere Koyamainavure (175-F-93) had 11 points each in the loss. Malama Leaupepe (173-G-96) replied with 20 points, 19 rebounds and 8 steals for Samoa.

New Caledonia - Cook Islands 37-89
Cook Islands earned the first win at the tournament. They beat New Caledonia for 1-2 record. Ajiah Pepe (171-G-98) scored 22 points to lead the winners. Janet Main (168-G-89) added 13 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds for Cook Islands. Cynderella Fanalupe (176-C-99) replied with 10 points for the losing side.
