Guam celebrated the title in Apia. They outscored Tahiti in the championship game. Tai Wesley (201-F-86, college: Utah St.) posted 24 points to lead the winners. Guam recorded a 25:15 lead after ten minutes. They unleashed 44 points in the second half to race to the victory. Jesus Cruz (173-PG-85) had 21 points for Guam. Reihiti Sommers (196-G/F-92, college: Hannibal-LG) replied with 22 points for Tahiti.
3-4 Place
Fiji - Papua New Guinea 72-49
Fiji stepped onto the pedestal in Apia. They beat Papua New Guinea to earn the Bronze medals. Fiji recorded a 41:16 halftime lead. They protected the advantage throughout the second half and marched to the win. Marques Whippy (192-PF-86, college: BYU-Hawaii) scored 19 points and grabbed 10 rebounds, while Mataika Koyamainavure (203-F-94) added 15 points and 10 rebounds in the victory. Lloyd Wright (199-F-97) responded with 11 points for Papua New Guinea.
