American Samoa fired past Fiji to capture the trophy in Samoa. They edged Fiji in the Final. American Samoa recorded a 24:13 lead ten minutes into the game. Fiji narrowed the gap at 2-point mark at the interval. American Samoa though used a 44:25 second half run to ice the victory. Sarah Toeaina (180-G-96, college: Hawaii) posted 29 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Leah Salanoa (178-F-97) added 14 points for American Samoa. Letava Whippy (175-G-91, college: LIU Brooklyn) and Valeria Nainima (165-G-86) replied with 15 points each for Fiji.
3-4 Place
Samoa - Guam 87-85
Samoa nipped Guam to earn the third place at the tournament. Samoa posted a 24:16 lead at the first break. Guam denied the deficit and surged ahead in the next two periods. They ensured a 57:52 advantage at the final break. However Samoa unloaded 35 points in the fourth stanza and snatched the win. Malama Leaupepe (173-G-96) stepped up with impressive 50 points, 21 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side. Mia San Nicolas (180-C-01) replied with 20 points and 8 rebounds for Guam.
