Cook Islands - Tahiti 65-48

Cook Islands have won Polynesian Games 2022. They edged Tahiti 65-48 and remained undefeated at the tournament. Trailing 13-16 at the end of the first period, Cook Islands took full control of the court in the rest of the game to seal the win.
Terai Sadler (178-F-1992, college: Cent Arkansas) top-scored for the winners with 22 points and Zarya Uanona netted 8. Herehau Teissier replied with 18 points in a loss and Oceane Lefranc (177-SF-1993) brought 14. Cook Islands qualified for the 2023 Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands. The Pacific Games then serves as the official qualifier for the Oceania region to the FIBA Asia Cup Pre-Qualifiers.
