Fiji have won the thriller against New Caledonia 68-66 to clinch top place in Group B with a 3-0 record. Filimone Waqabaca (185-PG-2001) top-scored for the winners with 22 points and Tyrone McLennan (188-G-2000) netted 15. Joshua Fox (202-F-1994, college: UC Davis) followed them with 14 points. Beniela Adjouhgniope (196-F-1991) answered with 12 points in a loss and Ethaniel Fenuafanote (189-F-2004) as well as Rodrigue Tetainanuarii (203-F/C-1982) poured in 9 apiece. New Caledonia finished the group stage with a 1-2 record.
