Guam advanced to the Final of the Pacific Games 2023. They overcame Samoa 93:65 in the semifinal clash. Guam won the opening period 24-11 and added a 22-18 run in the second frame. Moreover, they dominated the third quarter with a 26-15 rally, whilst both teams nailed 21 points each in the last stanza.
Jahmar White (175-PG-2001) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Reo Aiken (188-G-2001, college: Moorpark CC) netted 17. Tai Wesley (201-F-1986, college: Utah St.) produced 13, whilst Jonathan Galloway (209-C-1996, college: UC Irvine) netted 11. Semika Nee replied with 24 points in the losing effort.
