The Palau women NT was close to defeat Papua New Guinea but they were defeated 48-53. The men had a day off before playing against Guam on Wednesday.

A good game from the palauns who were close to defeat a strong PNG team. Despite the home crowd support, they ended up short. Jubilee Kuartei scored a team-high 10pts 3/17FG 7rbs and 5bs in 34min, Cheryl Rengulbai added 8pts 2/10FG 6st in 22min while Stephanie Ngirchoimei was held to only 4pts 1/10FG 10rbs and 4ast in 32min.

On Wednesday the Men will play against Guam, the Women will try to resist to Fiji who has already crushed Guam and New Caledonia!
