NBL set to commence

A record number of 23 teams participating for the National Basketball league 2005/06 season beating last season mark of 20 teams. This is a great news for Palau Basketball Federation, basketball on the island has received a nice boost after the South Pacific Mini-Games this summer. There will be 2 games a night starting at 6 pm and are held on Monday to Saturday every week. The league wishes to thank all the businesses and state governments for their financial contributions and also thank the coaches, players and fans for their commitments in making a difference with their lives and all the people involved.
