20 Teams confirm for National Souths basketball tournament

Twenty Teams of both male and female division has been confirmed to take part in the Third National Souths Basketball League Championship in Goroka next weekend.
The tournament set to kick of on the Queen's birthday weekend on the 11th - 14th of June will see some of the hidden potential basketballers on show at the National Sports Institue and Young Christian Center (YC) hall in Goroka. Tournament director Mirisa Eka confirmed this yesterday in Goroka. Eka said preparations were all going well including tournament rules and judicicary committee all set up to run the tournament smoothly. Both the men's and women's team will be pooled into four categories from A,B,C and D where the final two will be playing off for the finals and then the final two to meet in the grand final.
