Australia-Papua New Guinea 93:35

Australia started the campaign with the win over Papua New Guinea in Porirua, Wellington. The favorites posted a 93:35 win in their opener.
Australia started the game with 26-6 run and added massive 25-9 rally in the second period. Moreover Australia posted two victories in the second half and rightfully clinched the win. They won the third period 25-10 and finished the game with a 17-10 surge.
Michael Healy IV top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Tanner Krebs (192-G-96) notched 14. Gerasimos McKay delivered 13, whilst Kai Woodfall notched 12. Apia Muri finished the game with 15 points in a loss, while Joe Elavo had 6. Emmanuel Parapa netted 5 and Gabriel Elavo poured in 3.
Tomorrow Australia will face Guam, while Papua New Guinea will play against Tahiti.
