New Zealand Maori - Papua New Guinea 80:33

New Zealand joined Australia in the Pacific Championship Final. They outscored Papua New Guinea for the spot in the championship game. Kyler Parai nailed 15 points to lead the winners.
The Maori stormed into the game. They went on a convincing 23:3 run in the opening quarter. New Zealand boosted the gap in the second term. They established a 42:14 halftime advantage. The hosts stayed in charge throughout the third term. The Maori rallied to a comfortable 62:22 advantage at the final intermission. New Zealand never looked back afterwards marching to the victory. Erica Hopkinson (185-F-88) netted 12 points, while Samara Gallaher (178-G-92) added 11 points for the home side. Emily Koivi responded with 7 points for Papua New Guinea. Nelly Jamsop had 6 points in the loss.
