No surprises in the first two days of competition in the 2007 South Pacific Games in Apia, Samoa. Fiji and Samoa seems to be the strongest team for the Gold medal. The fijians easily defeated Papua New Guinea while Samoa Crushed a Soana Lucet-less New Caledonia team. The two best teams of the pool phase will play in the Gold medal game, the winner of this final game will play in the Oceania Championship in September against Australia and New Zealand.
