2012 Pacific Youth Championships: Guam advanced to the Quarterfinals from the second place in Pool A

Guam advanced to the Quarterfinals from the second place in Pool A after an easy win over Samoa. They finished the group with 2-1 record after 86:48 victory. Samoa dropped at 1-2 record and finished third.
Guam started the game strong and managed to win all four quarters in the game. The second quarter was the best one with 21-7 surge that allowed Guam to dominate the court.
Reed Meyer led the way with 17 points and 12 rebounds, while Joshua Sebastian added 12. Michael Sakazaki delivered 10, whilst Maksever Kepwe, Samuel Sotelo and Argie Flores posted 9 apiece. Ene Togia replied with 13 points in the losing effort and Sapeti Tufuga notched 11. Theordore Mcfarland followed them with 9 points and 11 boards in the losing case.
Tomorrow Guam will face New Caledonia, while Samoa will play against Fiji.
