Fiji-Samoa 88:65
Fiji qualifies to the Semifinals of the 2012 Pacific Youth Championships. The team overcame Samoa 88:65 in the Quarterfinal game to reach the Final Four.
Fiji took 17-14 after the first 10 minutes of the game and scored another 17 points in the second frame. It was not however enough to win the second period as Samoa replied with 19-17 rally. Fiji managed to win the third period 15-11 and then erupted with 39-21 in the last stanza.
Isireli Vuetibau paced all the winners with 25 points and Pita Sowakula as well as Mataika Koyamainavure tossed in 19 each. Filimoni Vulimailaucala delivered 14 points in a win. Ene Togia ended up with 20 points in defeat and Sapeti Tufuga scored 18. Theordore Mcfarland collected 10 points and 17 rebounds, whilst Fagaloia Vaetoe added 7.
