2012 Pacific Youth Championships: Loic Meztdorf leads New Caledonia over Samoa

Loic Meztdorf leads New Caledonia over Samoa in the Playoff for 5th and 6th places at the 2012 Pacific Youth Championships. He scored 22 points as his team overcame the opponent 86:63.
Samoa surprised New Caledonia with 16-15 in the first period, but then could not match them in the rest of the game. New Caledonia bounced back with 24-13 and took 10-point advantage at the halftime. Moreover they won the third period 22-15 and finished the game with 25-19 in the last quarter.
O'Bryan Martin collected 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Nicolas Cedare-Wimian notched 12. Joan Delaunay-Belleville delivered 11 points in a win. Sapeti Tufuga ended up with 16 points in the losing effort and Ene Togia added 15. Theordore Mcfarland collected 12 points and 12 rebounds, whilst Fagaloia Vaetoe notched 7.
