Samoa rolled over Maldives 108-36 in Bengaluru at the start of the U18 Women Asian Championship in Division B. They nailed 25 points in the opening period to take the lead and never looked behind. Morever, Samoa easily won all the quarters of the game to seal the win.
Kira-May Filemu (178-F-2006) stepped up with 24 points and Leiana-Nila Leiataatimu produced 21. Malia Jae Ruud score 16, whilst Lailani Brown (173-G-2005) delivered 14. AISHATH INASHA and AISHATH LUA IBRAHIM answered with 7 points each in defeat.
