Samoa rolled over Tahiti 76-52 at the Polynesia Games 2022. They started with a 17-4 run and led 16 points at the halftime. Moreover, Samoa added a 16-14 rally in the third quarter and closed the game with a final 23-17 run in the last stanza.
Sienna Tutani (184-F/C-2006) top-scored for the winners with 18 points and Malama Leaupepe (173-G-1996) collected 16 points and 12 rebounds. Azaleeah Oloapu (180-C-2006) followed them with 14 points and 14 rebounds in a win. Maea Lextreyt (1985) replied with 17 points in the losing effort.
