Iran took control early, building a 41–18 halftime lead behind strong defense and efficient scoring. Samoa showed fight in the third quarter with an 18-point effort, but Iran quickly regained momentum, closing the game with a 20–9 final period. With consistent scoring across all four quarters and a stifling defensive display, Iran delivered a statement win to strengthen their push in the tournament.
Elina Kazemevini top-scored with 13 points, whilst Asma Shadrouh (2010) and Elena Ahmadian (2009) produced 12 points apiece. Jalyn Newton-Taito (183-SF-2010) had 10 points to lead Samoa.
