NBDO vists Tulagi

The Central Provincial Sport Coordinator had invited the National Basketball Development Officer, Golden Kikolo to tour Tugali at Central Province to make assessment on a exiciting basketball foundation whihc had built mnay yearws back but was not completed because of lack of funds and also on a possibility for funding from aid donors.  Central Province had never had a change of introducing the game to the Tulagi region.  There is a potential for the sport in the region however they lact the proper facilities.  For the moment, the NBDO has recommended to commence courses and basketball leagues on the netball court, while working on the proper court for basketball.  The NBDO will work closely with the commitee so that they can get any funding from aid donors to complete the basketball court
