New Caledonia overwhelmed Solomon Islands 98-38 at the Melanesian Cup 2022. They opened the game with a strong 37-12 surge and dominated the rest of the game. Moreover, New Caledonia won all the quarters of the game.
Ethaniel Fenuafanote (2004) stepped up with 21 points and Killian Taputu (2004) brought 17. Joan Delaunay-Belleville (182-PG-1994) delivered 14 points in the winning effort. Max Grantham answered with 11 points in the losing effort.
