Fiji - Solomon Islands 67-53

Fiji clinched 3rd place at the Melanesian Cup 2022 beating Solomon Islands 67-53. They opened the game with a 15-8 run and added a 23-12 surge in the second period. Solomon Islands meanwhile replied with a 19-11 rally in the third quarter, whilst Fiji closed the game with a final 18-14 run.
Isimeli Koroi (188-G-1998) top-scored for the winners with 22 points and Joshua Fox (202-F-1994, college: UC Davis) delivered 15. Alex Masaea (195-F/G-1993) replied with 13 points in a loss, whilst Max Grantham scored 12.
