HBA Super 4: season started on October 1st

The Honiara Basketball Association Super 4 Basketball Knockout will be starting this Sunday 1st October 2006. The opening ceremony will commence at 11am at the Multi Purpose Hall, Honiara. Games will be played every Sunday for the following 2 months. The competition comprises of 4 teams competing in a Round Robin format to establish position for the teams entering the knockout finals to play for the handsome cash prize.

HBA president Goldie Kari said that "this is going to be a great competition with 4 high quality teams. With the majority of National Squad, and U/20 National Squad players registered to play with different teams, every match could be decided by only 1 basket."
