Tahiti win bronze

The Tahitian men overcome reigning champions Fiji to win the bronze medal, 57 points to 49. In a low scoring game, with the lead changing many times, the Tahitians were able to take the win with good performances in the last 2 quarters of the game. Fiji were ahead at quarter and half time, but at three quarter time Tahiti was up by 4 points, and finished the game 8 points ahead. Rehiti Sommers put in 17 points for Tahiti, while Rahiti Teriierooiterai pulled down 10 rebounds. Jared Whippy, Leonard Whippy and Isikeli Mara contributed 34 of Fiji's points.
