Before the Pacific Champions Cup versus JS Vallee-du-tir, AS Aorai coach Pierre Villant told the tahitian newspaper La Depeche de Tahiti that his team is ready to play.

Aorai will be looking for a third Pacific Champions Cup in row...
To reach the top it's great but everybody knows that the hardest part is to stay at the top. Sometimes you are not as motivated as you used to be. And, for other reasons, we wouldn't the favourites for this game.

For which reasons?
The JSVDT players has just ended their championship and they will come here with Fabrice Chaliot. They are at the best of their game, this isn't our case. It's going to be tough because we were unable to make a good preparation. We only played two games so far this season because of our league's late tip-off.

Talking about Chaliot, did you prepare something special for him?
Against a player like that who can hit the shots and smash the defense, we have to find something to stop him. But we will not focused only on him because this team has many different weapons.
