French Cup: AS Aorai will host Rupella

Tahiti champion AS Aorai won a spot in the French Cup with the Pacific Champions Cup victory over the caledonian Vallee-du-tir. Aorai will enter the competition at the 7th round stage against a french fourth league team: Rupella.

Rupella, a team based in La Rochelle, will have to make a very long trip to Tahiti to play this game in February. Rupella is one of the best team in the french fourth league and it will be a very tough opponent for Aorai. But the team will try to push for another miracle like they did two years ago against Centre Federal, a third league team. Aorai will start the game with a 7-0 score because of the difference of level. There are 64 teams remaining in this competition and only 6 games to win to raise the trophy.
