Vietnam rout Tahiti in the opener of the Asia Cup 2025 Pre-Qualifiers. Vietnam posted an 84-41 win in Ulaanbaatar. It was Vietnam to open the game with a 17-12 lead and added a 21-12 rally in the second period. They took full court control in the second half and posted two more comfortable wins.
Vinh Nguyen Huynh (202-PF-1998) top-scored for the winners with 20 points and Khoa Dang Tran (183-G-1997) netted 17. Glenn Garbutt (1991) answered with 15 points in the losing effort.
