Isaac Fotu joins CAI Zaragoza

CAI Zaragoza (Liga Endesa) inked 22-year old New Zealander-Tongan forward Isaac Fotu (203-104kg-93, college: Hawaii). It is actually his comeback to Zaragoza as he played here before. Fotu played most recently at La Bruixa d'Or in Spanish Liga Endesa on loan from CAI Zaragoza. In 26 games he recorded 10.7ppg and 4.0rpg last season.
Fotu just graduated from University of Hawaii and it will be his first season in pro basketball. He received All-Big West 1st Team award in 2014 at his college time. Fotu represented New Zealand at the FIBA Oceania Championships this year.
He has played also in Australia (New Zealand Breakers).
Fotu's game is described as: A young fiorward with huge international experience and winning mentality. Has great spin moves, can easily dunk and can score. Also, he can played tough-as-nails defense. Great upside for the SF position.
