Isaac Fotu (ex Venezia) signs at Link Tochigi Brex Utsunomiya

Link Tochigi Brex Utsunomiya (B1 League) landed 27-year old New Zealander-Tongan ex-international 203cm power forward Isaac Fotu, college: Hawaii for new season. Fotu played most recently at Umana Reyer Venezia in Italian Serie A. In 18 games he averaged 8.5ppg and 2.8rpg last season. He helped them to make it to the semifinals. He also played 10 games in Eurocup where he had 9.8ppg and 4.6rpg.
The previous (19-20) season he played at De Longhi Treviso Basket 2012 (Serie A). In 20 games he recorded 14.1ppg and 5.3rpg.
Fotu also represented New Zealand at the FIBA Oceania Championships six years ago.
He has played also professionally in Australia, Germany (ratiopharm Ulm) and Spain (Zaragoza).
Among many awards he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-World Cup Honorable Mention in 2019.
He attended University of Hawaii until 2015 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
