Vanuatu came at the 2003 South Pacific Games with a shoe problem, that shows the difficulties to play basketball in this small country. But Vanuatu showed great courage and will to play their games. They ended at the 7th place, beating Kiribati for the last game. Some good players in this team: Jimmy Rueben, Elvis Silas or even Rene Koulon. Vanuatu still have to improve but they seems to be on the right way. Hoping they'll solve their shoe problem for the next SPG...
